When you click on anything in Levo Studio, an Edit Block Panel pops up on the right. The first tab is the Content tab. This is where you change the words, pictures, links, and data on your page.
The options you see in the Content tab will change depending on what you clicked. Here is a handy list of what you can do:
If you clicked on this... | ...here is what you can change! |
|---|---|
Heading | Change the big title text. |
Text / Paragraph | Rewrite your regular body sentences. |
Image | Swap the picture or add a short text description. (Describing images helps screen readers and makes your site easier to find on Google!). |
Button | Change what the button says and choose where it takes the user when clicked. |
Icon | Pick a new icon symbol and make it link somewhere. |
Link | Change the clickable words and the web address they go to. |
Video | Paste a new video link, or make the video play on repeat automatically. |
Form | Change the questions you ask, choose what happens when someone clicks "submit," and write a nice "thank you" message. |
Container or Section | The background picture, background color, and how the items inside fit together (the layout). |
Click on any text (like a heading or paragraph) and you will see a text box in the Content tab. Just type or paste your new words here.
Tip for Collection Pages: If you are building Collection Pages, this is where you type special codes to pull in matching data. For example, typing {context.pets_name_list.animal_name} in a heading will automatically show the right pet name for each generated page. We will explain this in more detail later.
Click on an image, and the Content tab will let you:
Image Upload: Click to upload a new picture or swap the old one.
Alt Text: Write a short sentence describing the picture. This is very important! It helps search engines (like Google) understand your image, and helps screen readers read the description out loud for visually impaired visitors.
Buttons and text links both use these settings:
Label: The words people see on the button.
URL: The exact link where the person goes when they click. Paste a full URL (like https://example.com) or link to another page on your site.
Open in new tab: Turn this on if you want the link to open in a new browser tab instead of replacing your current page.
Click on an icon to see:
Icon Selector: Look through our built-in library to pick an icon. You don't need to upload any files!
Link: You can optionally add a URL here to make the icon clickable.
Click on a media block (video), and you will see:
Video Upload: Click to upload a video straight from your computer.
Autoplay: Turn this on to make the video play automatically. (Note: Browsers force autoplay videos to be muted, so this works best for silent background videos).
Loop: Turn this on so the video starts over automatically when it finishes.
Mute: Turn the sound on or off.
You use an Iframe element when you want to embed something from another website—like a YouTube video, a Vimeo clip, a Google Map, or a custom form.
The Content tab shows:
Embed URL: Paste the special embed link from the other website.
On YouTube: Click Share → Embed, and copy the src link from the code.
On Vimeo: Click Share → Embed, and do the same thing.
Important: A normal YouTube link (like youtube.com/watch?v=...) will not work here! You must use the "embed" version (youtube.com/embed/...). Most platforms give you this link under their Share or Embed option.
Forms give you the most options. Click on a form to see:
Form Fields: Add, remove, or change the order of the boxes (like name, email, or message).
Submit Button Text: The label for the final submit button.
Success Message: What visitors see when they successfully finish the form.
Error Message: What pops up if something goes wrong.
Some blocks have repeating groups—like a list of features, a carousel of testimonials, or a grid of team members. When you click one of these:
You will see a list of items in the Content tab.
You can add, remove, or drag them to change the order.
Click any item in the list to open it up and edit its individual text and pictures.
The Content tab is only for changing what your element contains. If you want to change:
How it looks (like colors, fonts, borders, or size) → go to the Style tab.
How it moves (like making things fade in, hover effects, or scroll animations) → go to the Animation tab.
